Beekeeping activities have a massive potential in the forest areas of Purulia. This has an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurship development for unskilled labor including tribal women. The availability of training facilities & resources is inadequate in the area. MANT proposes to coordinate and arrange for onsite and off-site training on Honey bee-keeping to interested farmers. Special thrust will be given on scientific production technology & marketing through PSC.
