Nutrition Gardens

Nutrition gardens in every household

Marginal and poor families usually have a small courtyard with a small space for a garden. We propose to provide guidance on growing more vegetables within the constraint of space. Where possible, more community lands will be identified for families to grow and share produce. These small interventions will help immensely in improving household food security and alleviating malnutrition among women and children. MANT and PSC aim to provide access to all households with at least 150-200 gm of green vegetables or fruits per person per day around the year. MANT would be providing seeds & bio-inputs and arranging training for the community.
