Water Body Restoration and Fish Farming
Restoring water bodies and cultivating local varieties of fish
Small and marginal farmers will be organized into groups. They will be motivated to revive old and neglected ponds to ensure water retention for lean seasons, provide water for drinking and irrigation, and cultivate local fish varieties. The pond bank will be utilized for growing different vegetables, lentils, and perennial and multi-purpose trees. Endangered species of Fish will be cultured and grown in the pond for the purpose of preservation, popularization, and additional income.
